My Story
Photography, for me, is about being fully immersed in nature or captivated by historic locations, conveying the essence of our environment within a frame.
It’s the perfect blend of my passion for both art and the natural world. I’m drawn to simple yet striking landscapes, where I seek out dramatic lighting, atmospheric conditions, bursts of colour and unique compositions. I’m also captivated by wildlife, learning about the behaviour of Britain’s iconic species. Through my lens, I find order within the chaos.
Living with Long Covid has made me see the world differently, transforming limitations into opportunities. By discovering hidden treasures close to home, I’ve found a new joy in life. This process is restorative—though sometimes interrupted by a struggle with my tripod or a tumble into a bush.
My hope is that my photographs inspire you to pause and observe the world around you more closely, appreciating the beauty in everyday moments.
